These terms of use apply to your use of Fontwix (fontwix.com), including the fancy text generator, the letter and number font pages, the cursive guides and the printable practice sheets. Please read them carefully. They are written to be as clear as possible.

Acceptance of These Terms

By visiting or using Fontwix, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Use of the Service

Fontwix is free to use and does not require an account. You may use the tools for personal, educational and commercial purposes, as long as you follow these terms.

We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time, for example to fix problems, add new styles or improve performance. We try to keep Fontwix available at all times, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be online or free of errors.

Generated Text

The styled text you create with Fontwix is made of standard Unicode characters. You are free to copy it and use it anywhere you like, including in social media profiles, posts, games, designs and commercial projects, without crediting us.

We cannot guarantee that every app, website, device or font will display every style. Some characters may appear as empty boxes, look different from one device to another or be rejected by a platform's name rules. You are responsible for checking that styled text works where you plan to use it and that it follows that platform's rules.

Acceptable Use

When using Fontwix, you agree not to:

  • use the site or the text it creates to harass, impersonate, deceive or defraud other people;
  • use styled characters to hide illegal content or to get around another platform's safety filters;
  • try to disrupt, overload, hack or gain unauthorized access to the site or its servers;
  • scrape, copy or republish large parts of the site automatically, or present our content as your own;
  • use the site in any way that breaks applicable laws or regulations.

Intellectual Property

The Fontwix name, logo, site design, code, written guides, illustrations and printable worksheets belong to Fontwix and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may print the practice sheets for personal, classroom or home-school use, but you may not sell them or republish them on another website without permission.

Unicode characters themselves belong to no one. Anyone can use them, and the styled text you generate is yours to use as you wish.

Fontwix may link to other websites and shows ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense. We do not control those websites or ads and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Clicking an ad or an external link is at your own discretion.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Fontwix and all its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We work hard to keep the information accurate, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or error-free. See our disclaimer for more details.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Fontwix and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, accounts, profits or reputation, arising from your use of the site or of text generated with it. This includes, for example, a platform rejecting or removing a styled name. Your only remedy if you are unhappy with Fontwix is to stop using it.
